Raja Senanayake
Chairman
Mr. Senanayake was appointed Chairman of Commercial Insurance Brokers (Pvt.) Ltd. on 1 November 2025. He is an Independent/Non-Executive Director of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC since September 2020 and was appointed Deputy Chairman in April 2024. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board Integrated Risk Management Committee and has previously chaired several key Board committees, including Audit, Human Resources and Remuneration, Related Party Transactions Review, and Capital Expenditure Review. He also serves as the Chairman of CBC Myanmar Microfinance Co. Ltd., a fully-owned subsidiary of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC. He is a Fellow Member of CA Sri Lanka with over 35 years of post-qualifying experience. Mr. Senanayake holds a B.Com. (Special) degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the Postgraduate Institute of Management of the same University. He completed his articles at Messrs EY and possesses extensive expertise in financial management and reporting, risk and capital management, corporate governance, compliance, sustainability, and integrated reporting. He has also undertaken professional training with Euromoney and the National University of Singapore.
PRASAD DODANGODA

Mr. Prasad Dodangoda brings over 30 years of exemplary experience in the insurance industry to his role as Managing Director of Commercial Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd. , which he assumed in December 2024. His remarkable career includes leadership roles at renowned global insurers such as AIA Insurance and Allianz Insurance, where he consistently drove business growth and operational excellence. An accomplished professional, Mr. Dodangoda holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Northampton and is a Fellow of Chartered Professional Managers (FCPM). He is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (Cert CII). His advanced training includes programs at prestigious institutions such as INSEAD, France, and the National University of Singapore. His expertise spans insurance distribution management, strategic planning, and fostering robust business relationships.
Highly engaged in the insurance sector and fortified by his extensive experience, Mr. Dodangoda is committed to steering CIBL toward innovation and success. His visionary leadership and deep industry knowledge position him as a pivotal figure in driving the organization to greater heights.
Delakshan Hettiarachchi

Mr. Dilakshan Hettiarachchi – Appointed as Director of Commercial Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd., in October 2019, presently serves Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC., as Deputy General Manager Personal Banking, shouldering the overall responsibility of managing entire branch network.The overall management of SME Banking (Small Medium sized Enterprise) business and the business operations of Bancassurance is yet another of the many tasks Mr. Hettiarchchi has been assigned with by Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC.The years of experience in the Banking Sector has crowned him with knowledge in all areas of Finance Management uplifting him to take the high seat of Director of CBC Myanmar Microfinance Co. Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC., managing the Overseas Operations and expanding its business growth
Prasanna Indrajith

Mr. Prasanna Indrajith – was appointed as a Director of Commercial Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd., on September 07th, 2020. He presently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC., and has over 27 years post qualification experience in Finance related fields including 25 years working experience in the Bank.He is a fellow of the CA Sri Lanka, ACCA (UK), CMA (Sri Lanka) and an associate of the IBSL. He also holds second class upper division degree in BSc Business Administration (Special) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Financial Administration from the CA Sri Lanka.He also serves as the Company Secretary of Commercial Development Company PLC, which is a subsidiary of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC.
Kapila Liyanage

Mr. Kapila Liyanage is a senior banker with over 23 years of extensive and diversified experience in the banking industry, with a proven track record of leadership in both domestic and international operations.For 18 years, he successfully served as a Branch Manager across multiple regions in Sri Lanka, developing a solid foundation in retail banking and building strong customer relationships. He later advanced to serve as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Commercial Bank of Ceylon’s Bangladesh operations for five years, where he gained valuable international exposure and strategic leadership experience. In 2024, Mr. Liyanage was appointed Assistant General Manager – Personal Banking at Commercial Bank of Ceylon, Sri Lanka Operations, where he oversees the bank’s entire retail products portfolio, including Bancassurance operations. Further underscoring his expertise and leadership, he was appointed to the Board of Commercial Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd on 2nd September 2025. Mr. Liyanage holds a Bachelor of Science in Management (Special) Degree. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (ACMA) and a Certified Public Accountant, Australia (CPA). Additionally, he is a Life Member of the Association of Professional Bankers and holds a Diploma in Programming and Systems Analysis from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM).
